Our address is 3006 Caraway Drive. We are on the other side of town in Carlyle subdivision right off of Osborne Lane. Take Memorial Parkway all the way past SportsComm toward Lebanon. Once you past St. Farm on your right, you will pass a strip center of offices then Osborne will be on your right. Turn right onto Osborne, then go about 3/4 mile and turn left in Carlyle. This is Caraway Drive. Our house is the second to last one on the right.

I have the staple gun and one stuffed animal already. We are still in need of another large stuffed animal. Also, if anyone has any orange mums that we can sit on our float that day would be great.

Homecoming

Thanks to all the parents that have this venture started. We need every dancer to help work on the float at least one night or more next week. This is mandatory, for the sake of a nice homecoming float. If your child does not make it by to work, then they will not allowed to ride the float in the parade. This is the fairest way I know to make this work out for all. The girls need to enjoy themselves and build great high school memories. Have fun. I will be by one night to help out. Thanks for all the effort.

Homecoming

Morning. As everyone knows, next week is our busy week. Its HOMECOMING. The trailer will be here ready to work on next Monday. We will be working every evening from 6-9. We will have all supplies by then. These are a few things that we are in need of.

Navy, dark orange or denim bean bag chairs

BIG stuffed animal (to put jerseys on)

Large pillows - navy, denim or dark orange

Staple gun


We had some problems with the sweatpants but everything is fine now. We have them all. Please pay the booster club as soon as possible for these. The total is $6.60. We will not give the sweatpants out until they have been paid for.

PRACTICE

Here I go again.

Because of meetings being held in our school on Thursday and yearbook pictures, we are going to have to shift around some practices again. This Thursday, Sept. 25th we can not have practice in school, this is from administration, so we are rescheduling for Wed. 24th from 3:45 to 5:00. That way if people have church they can get there. I also talked to Michael's Photography and the day they scheduled us for pictures is Thurs., Oct. 16th at 4:00 pm at their Smyrna location. We need to reschedule that practice for Wed., Oct. 15th from 3:45 to 5:00. Sorry for all the conflicts. Hope this works out for all. Thank you.

Just a reminder that we need larger coolers for the "Blaze Bash" for homecoming. They need to be at my house by October 2nd. Does anyone have one we could use?

Sweat Pants

Just an FYI. Please do not go purchase the sweat pants. There is a problem with the original pair that was picked out being recalled. Babbi is in Knoxville and found another option. She is going to purchase these for the entire dance team so they will all be the same. They are the same price $6.60 per pair.

We absolutely can not give out the sweat pants until they are paid for! Since Babbi purchased these, the booster club will reimburse her and you will need to pay the booster club. Please write your check to BHS Dance Team as usual for $6.60 and send ASAP. You are welcome to send it with your daughter to give to Jessica if you feel this won't get lost in the shuffle. Otherwise mail it.

The shirts will be purchased by the booster club. You are only responsible for paying for the sweat pants. These will be used again for a pep rally, basketball season, etc.

Reminder that if you owe the booster club, please send payment ASAP as we will have to start applying a late fee to all accounts that are past due.

T-Shirts

Hello everyone. I will be ordering the tshirts for the girls for Homecoming in the morning. If anyone would like to order one please let me know by early Thursday morning. The price is $12.00 each. They are white with navy/orange on the front and orange on the back. They will be exactly like the girls shirts which is a take off on their homecoming float.

Good Morning. This year for the Homecoming parade each girl will need to purchase their own navy sweatpants. They are at WalMart in the ladies department. The brand is "Hanes" and they have an open bottom on the leg (no elastic). I believe they were around 6.00. We are having a tshirt made for each girl and these will be paid for by the booster club. Both items will be used in a future pep rally. They will need these by Friday, October 3rd.

MEETING!

Hello everyone. We will have a meeting this Thursday (September 11, 2008) at 4:00 in Angela's room to discuss a few things about Homecoming, tailgating, etc.....I know its short notice and earlier in the afternoon but we needed to meet when Ms. Angela could be there.

Homecoming is less than a month away so we need to get busy. Please be sure and let me know if anyone has found a trailer that we can use.

Practice

I first want to begin by apologizing for cancelling practice yesterday. Mrs. Holl was schedule to supervise it, but her back went out and she could not get out of bed. I had previous obligations with my children at dance in Nashville at 4:15. We are going to practice today, because not all of the dancers know the dance, and it is going to be performed tomorrow at the pep rally. Very seldom do I change practice times, but with Labor Day and the negotiation meeting, I was trying to work everything in and have us prepared. I understand some dancers are involved in other activities here and elsewhere and I hope this does not conflict too much. We will not be attending the meeting tonight, unless you want to go individually or your dancer chooses to go after practice. Everyone that knows the dance and can perform it with the occasional minimal mistake will perform at the pep rally. If your dancer still does not know the dance, she might not be dancing tomorrow at the pep rally. They will all still perform at the game.

We will continue to learn dances quickly, so they need to practice each night at home. If you ever want to video the dance so they can watch it, please come by toward the end of practice and you are welcome to do this.

Sorry for any confusion this week.

Hello Parents,
