- There was discussion on our budget and it was decided that there is enough money in our account that we do not need to pay for December or January. I know this will help everyone during this time of year. We will not be doing any more fundraising this year simply because we do not have a need for it. We need to keep about $500.00 in the account for startup cost for next year. After we pay for the upcoming events we will have that amount in the account.

- There was discussion about the girls having a Christmas party. It was decided that on Wednesday, December 10th, the girls would go shopping right after school for a needy family. The booster club is giving the girls $200.00 to shop for this family. If anyone would like to donate more, it will certainly be appreciated. After we have shopped, we will meet at Ashlynn’s home for dinner at 6:30. The booster club will pay for the dinner as well. After dinner the girls will wrap the presents for our sponsor family. We will really felt that this was a much better way for the girls to give back to someone in need instead of giving gifts among themselves.

- We also discussed other ways our girls can give back. It was decided that we would be ringing bells for the Salvation Army. This is a great opportunity for community service for our girls and to teach them how fortunate each of us are. It will be another great event to put on their college applications. We have signed up for four time slots. We will also need parents for each time slot. The times are below. Please let me know what time your child can attend. It is not mandatory but is greatly encouraged. We will have both doors at the Wal-Mart on Old Fort Parkway.
