Minutes from BHS Dance Booster Club Meeting

Hello,
Just wanted to make sure that everyone saw the article in the DNJ paper this morning about the school board meeting for stipends for the dance team sponsors. It is my understanding that there will be another meeting on Sept 4 to hash this out again. Our sponsors deserve to be paid! They put in alot of time that keeps them away from their family. We have always been able to do a little something at the end of the year, with funds from the general fund that we collect and have at the end of the year. However, it would be nice if they were compensated in some way from the Rutherford County school board.
They are looking to have BHS, LaVergne and Smyrna also in attendance at the next meeting to show how much support they have to get this pushed through for our sponsors. A dance team is not possible without the time and effort that they so graciously put in.
So mark your calendar now for Sept. 4. I am not sure on the time, but when I find out I will let you know. Hopefully our girls will be able to attend the next one as well in their new uniforms!
